Lands of Calidair
An AOL AD&D Online Role Playing Group

Welcome to the Lands of Calidair.  We are an Advanced Dungeons and Dragons(TM) role playing group on American Online.  We are not associated with, nor do we tolerate "Free-form" gaming of any kind in our game.  All are welcome to join in and play as long as they are willing to play by AD&D 2nd Edition rules and those modifications the DM staff has come up with to further the enjoyment of the LoC.  We are always willing to help those who are new to the game with understanding the rules and character creation.

Rule Exeptions/Changes  (Every DM has their own playing style and rules that are specific to that style.  Look here for rules that are specific to the style of gaming for this group that may conflict or be
                                               different from normal AD&D rules.)

Things to Remember  (Here are bullet statements from the newsletters dealing with OOC information on the game.)

Proficiencies  (Here you will find some extra proficiencies obtained from various sources)

The main basis of this game is to give people who enjoy role playing in all genres a place to enjoy and have fun.  We have taken several years to convert rules from several different role playing systems into an AD&D style format to incorperate them into our game and have integrated them into the background of Calidair itself.  We know that there are times when the technology could seem a bit overbearing and overpowering.  We hope that you will bear with us as it is still in a play-testing status, and the rules are constantly being adjusted to fit into the game better.  At this time we do not plan on segregating any of the genres that are allowed into the LoC game, nor do we plan on getting rid of any of them.  We wish this to be a fun group for all to enjoy and play in.  We strive to ensure this is true.  All comments, complaints, and suggestions are taken to heart and mulled over by the DM staff to see if there is something that needs to be added, changed, or deleted to improve the game play.
